Recently me and Mr J watched the movie ‘Bridemaids’
The main character (female) went berserk when her BFF was engaged. Note: the lead actress is single. Ditched by previous bf when their biz closed down. She has a fuck buddy. A fucking rich guy who calls her when he wants to have sex. (YES, she allowed him to have sex. Stupid woman!)
So the movie led me into this conversation with my bf.
Well, it’s just interesting to hear each other’s view on not-married-at-our-age.
Do you feel left out cuz all your friends, cousins of the same age or younger are already married?
Some even have kids!
Is there really peer pressure in this area of life?
How abt peer pressure in terms of work designation and pay scale? Or even the material aspect?
He drives a BMW, owns a condo and wear Dunhill shoes & belt.
She owns a Chanel bag, wears ferragamo shoes & cartier watch.
Conclusion: Time ‘forces’ ppl into marriage & having kids, in a way or another.
I’ve seen happily-ever-after and get-the-shit-outta-my-life sort of marriages.
Having said these, marriage and kids are BIG DECISION in life.
I’m sure those who have already made their decision, are very happy with their decision. =)
it was 3 plus on a sat aftern.
we were done with lunch and decided to go plant-hunting so came to this plant nusery at Jurong.
the cats were just lying on each other, amongst the rows of flowering plants, under the slight shelter from the sun.
to them, it’s a perfect day!
so why plant-hunting?
recently i’ve shifted office and desk is right at the door of the new office.
just felt that the feng shui not so good.
according to my fren, as long as the door when it’s opened, doesnt cut into your desk, it’s quite alright.
BUT my back is a piece of glass window where there’s a huge pillar behind.
the only thing to do, is to place a plant to remove all the potential sha qi
so in my 3 days of MC (which was quite bored for me)
i went shopping in JB!! wahaha..
my very considerate bf was browsing around in SASA, suggested that i try this ‘Firm Up’
cuz he feels that it will help to maintain my youthfulness. (in other words, he feels that i’m ageing. nb)
costs me $53 for 24 bottles of collagen. affordable la. so try lor..
tell you the results in 1 month’s time!
Sun
> re-arranged my room’s furniture to fit in my parents’ king bed. (they wanted my single size bed. long story)
> did everything by myself.
Mon
> woke up with super pain at my lower back!!
> went sinseh. i tell you i almost hit him cuz he did the suction thingy which caused me GREAT DEAL OF PAIN.
Tue
> cant sit or stand for too long. lying down is the only position i can be in.
> decided to visit the hospital to ensure everything’s fine & also get some medication.
> kenna 1 jab. OUCH!
Wed – Fri
> off from work! awesome.
> work 3 hrs per day ; slack the rest of the day.
so i spent time with my monster.
He watched his Dora/Thomas & Friends / Cars / Barney day & night in my room.
i even brought him down to cycle while i strolled with my sprained back.
Roses wrapped in pink monkey motif wrapping.
So sala yet so me & so you.
these are not just normal roses.
they are the big roses!
sits prettily in your vase.
conclusion: i’m just happier upon recieving the roses.
it’s not about the wrapper. or the monkey motif on the wrapper. or the pink roses.
it’s the thought to buy me roses.
i have exactly 8 days to the big event next Thurs.
this time, i felt so lonely working on it cuz all my teammates who worked with me previously, have all left the company.
nobody to put me in place.
one and only one.
feels yucky to get called into the big boss office every 3 – 4hrs abt the event.
have to hear how poor thing he is, cuz got scolded by the CEO.
in the 1st place, he went to overpromise the CEO and now have to swallow all his words.
tonight, i’m so mentally exhausted that my mind refuses to do any work. (that’s why i’m writing this post)
been exploring the new shopping mall (KSL City) in JB.
there’s cinema (super duper cold. min 10 degrees cold), many shops with cheap clothes and many restuarants!
we somehow spotted this restuarant that serves all HEALTHY food.
sharkfin soup.

ginseng chicken soup.
ginseng dang gui chicken soup.
snow jelly.
bird nest and many more!!
Even the herbal eggs (3 for RM2.90) are quality-guaranteed! unlike those at pasar malam which you end up eating hard-boiled eggs underneath the egg shells.
so tasty that mr J had it with white rice. haha.. macham so cham!

I realised that i’ve maxed out my 3 chances to be bridemaid. This also meant that i have nobody else who is still single to be my bridemaids!!!
4 May is my lunar birthday.
mum cooked me mee sua.
5 May is my ang moh birthday.
my company gave me birthday leave.
my frens sent me birthday greetings.
mr J booked me on a trip to Phuket today too. (gg in July)
