For the 1st time, i tried Melben Seafood @ AMK.
They are famous for crab beehoon.
it’s a little too crabby taste for me.

For the 1st time, i ate crab without using my hands at all.
crab meat is nicely ‘peeled’ for me.
so lucky of me. *big grin*

my biz partners invited me to dinner at High Society restuarant @ MBS (just next to That CD shop)
it’s surprisingly atas!
from the food to the crockery to the decor..
foie gras. beef stew. dom perignon. Cloudy bay (white wine). good music.

why i say atas crockery.
check out the champagne glass. it’s branded.

then of course, my fav colour – green cupcake. some green tea thingy. (cant recall the name)

best of all, i think the prices are affordable.

shophouses always have this appeal which is unspoken.
some are vintage.
some are modern.
i loved the fact that it has a roof garden. not all though.

a cafe located at Nomu building (next to The Cathay)
decor’s pretty normal.
the interesting stuff are the food and the travel photos.
the menu consists of food from major cities such as LA, Munich, Morroco and etc.
travel photos of venice, effiel tower & etc are displayed in a portrait digital frame (or is it a TV?)

morrocan beef sticks.
quarter roasted chicken.
interesting sauces of almost 10 types?!
food’s actually nice for me (i had the morrocan beef sticks)
the side dish > german mash potatoes with bacon bites WAS YUMMYLICIOUS.
(to mr shrek, i’m waiting for your version)

within a short span of 4 mths since my boss (now it’s ex boss) left, we have another hero who is leaving too.
but he has gotten a fantastic package from his next job!
so we cheers to his farewell..

it’s weird that i got it from HMV (a cd store)
CD biz is doing so bad that they started selling
badges | books | magazines | tees | headphones | DVDS | Box games

and the only decent HMV in SG left is at 313 Somerset. at least they still have a jazz/new age room.
the one at citylink mall is just like a rack of it.

soon to be taken over by another irritating/useless deputy director.

it feels weird that somebody is going to take over that seat.
