How have you been?
There’s been so many madness going on, at work (mostly) that i havent got the mood to update.
Too many cooks cooking the same dish which includes my new director.
talking abt him, makes me sigh.
a guy with a job history of 1 job per year.
full of fluff like cotton candy and goes popping with creative ideas like popcorn.
do we really expect such guy to perform at work and achieve 60% of his KPI which is to hit the target revenue? i will update you in 6 mths time.
let’s talk abt happy things!
i am somehow being volunteered to be an usher at F1 Paddock Club by my big boss.
1st thing to my mind, is “KNN! Weekend burnt. no budget to hire temps so use staff as cheap labour”
2nd thing to my mind, is “ok la, at least it’s Paddock which is the best of the best liao. go have the best F1 experience like a millionaire”
recieved the uniform and super access pass!

i hate red. i hate polo tee. i dun look good in red.
really dun know what other colour to match the ugly looking polo tee.
so i did ‘belated national day’ colour matching.

so, what and where exactly is the Paddock Club? if you were at F1, it’s zone 1.
3-day pass is sold at $8,000!
the rich and famous hangs out at this place.
the minute you enter this zone, everything is free.
champagne, wine, hard liquor, beer, crepes, ice-cream, entertainment to 3 Michelin star restuarant food such as Jean-Georges & Nobu (go google it!)
Paddock Club Suites are right above the race teams’ garages. see photo below.

you could even do a pit lane walk! unfortunately, pit lane walk timing is the only chance i have to eat my dinner. so i didnt manage to walk down the pit lane to check out the race teams’ garages. see!

behind each garage, there’s a hospitality suite for the members of the race team to chill, eat, drink and etc.

i tried to find the top fav teams. this is the closest i could get to.

so 3 days of work, who exactly are the guests at the SingTel Paddock Club Suite?
day 1 > SingTel mgt and staff. the tickets were being balloted. so there were NCS ppl and lots of those who are permanent volunteer for some SingTel stuff.
day 2 > partners and clients of SingTel from various parts of Asia (we had Thai, Indonesian, Australians)
day 3 > more partners and clients of SingTel. mainly CEOs, COOs and etc.
day 3 was the most interesting for me.
We had the F1 owner Bernie Ecclestone with Singapore Grand Prix owner Ong Beng Seng, who brought along 3 racers!
Felipe Massa ; Bruno Senna ; Vitaly Petrov
was the only thing that got the ladies all excited! so i just snapped away.. Massa in red ; the other 2 in green in accordance to their race team colour.

Bernie’s so old and so successful. i bet that he’s the envy of all men. (the man with white hair)
He cleverly combine fast cars, pretty women, good food and unlimited booze and calls it Formula One!

the working team somehow managed to take a photo with the 3 racers!! woohoooo!!

talking abt the working team, it consists of high flyers in SingTel from Deputy Directors, Directors to Vice President.
the lady in grey is our GCFO. super accountant!
only me and a colleague are just managers.

u must be thinking where’s the SingTel Grid Girls? i didnt take any photos of them. hee..
instead i took photo of the Miss Universe 2011 and her fellow contestants for your pleasure!

super tall. macham like trees walking past you.
super flawless skin or rather super good cosmestic with awesome make up skills.
there was this moment where all the girls were choosing their Singapore F1 tee to get, all the men got excited!!
their perky asses were facing the men. one of them even had to use his powerful camera to snap the backside of the girls. see evidence below:

coming back to the race, we could see the starting line from the suite. super magnificent!
the mercedes SLR and celebrities and govt officials hanging at the track before the flag off.
Dun ask me how come the grid girl winner Mio is not seen flagging off the race.
Dun ask me how come our singapore gird girls are carrying other countries’ flags.

the race ended with mr Vettel winning his 11th pole in 2011 campionship & SingTel’s generous sponsorship of fireworks!

it also marks the end of 3 days of F1 work (pure hardship of standing long hours)
i couldnt feel my toes.
they will go numb on and off.
of course, the company is nice enough to give us 3 days off from work.
i dragged my tired feet to foot massage the next day!
also ate a feast to compensate the 3 days of inability-to-eat-in-peace-at-f1
so this is the most interesting F1 experience i ever had.
Ask me if i would do the same next year?
i will not cuz i would give the chance to someone else to experience the best of F1 among the rich and famous.
