today’s lunch topic was about a colleague’s birthday which was on sunday.
she actually cried on her birthday.
1. bf didnt plan nothing.
2. no present.
3. a self-decorated cake (and an ugly one)

well, some comforted her that bf is just not the romantic sort but he’s nice to her any other day.
to me, it’s not acceptable.
1. she’s a nice girl who deserves to be treated nicer, especially on her birthday
2. one only celebrates birthday ONCE a year.
3. dun have to be too fanciful but just need the man to plan where for dinner and after-dinner plan.

hence it is truly true that men is from mars ; women is from venus.
i think i need to find a man from venus. make sense?

yes, i was.
one year ago’s today 10 July.

a 6 hours road trip from Melbourne to Falls Creek where i snowboarded, carried snowboard & walked at least 2km, chilled my ass off, played silly games, drank & ate steamboat.

been coughing badly these couple of days so i’ve been strict with my diet.
no fried food.
no chicken.
no biscuits.chips.curry puff. SNACKS in summary.

i’m so used to snacking after dinner…

putting on my track pants for sleeping, it reminded me of ONE year ago in Brisbane/Melbourne/Falls Creek.

missed those days.
missed the sights.
missed the cold weather.
missed cigi-ing in the cold.
missed walking against the blowing cold wind.
missed siam-ing the blowing cold wind.
missed the pretty cherry tomatoes

missed sitting on the ski lift.

missed bringing the kid in me out.

minus the emotions.

a team of us working frantically overnight to get this and that and million other things done.
we even got the entire team to come back on weekend to help with AMPed press conference stuff.

2010.
i wonder what is it like.
i wonder if there are more challenges or surprises.
i know work’s gonna be more challenging (aka tiring)
