Letting go…

You wan to rid yourself of that person.
You wan their face to stop appearing everytime you hear that certain song
And you wan to not call them at 3am when you heart hurts.
But
If you let them go,
If you cut them out of your life.. then that’s it – they’re gone.
You will nvr get a do-over and nvr get a chance to make things right.
You will go from being the reason they once smiled,
being that person they could always count on..
to the person they hope to nvr have to see again,
because the awkwardness would be too much to bear.

letting it go is always painful.
it is extremely difficult to take the 1st step to let go..
to tear yourself away.physically. mentally.
only with much determination, one will then succeed.
the process of letting go might be painful..
but not to let go, would be even more painful..
once you’ve let go, the pain goes away.
trust me.
i’ve been there. done that.
and here i am. standing strong.
