“worrying is like a rocking chair. it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.”

Lolli says:
worrying is part and parcel of life.
we are always worrying abt this and that.. but u know wat’s the 1st worrying thing we have on our mind?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
yes.. no doubt abt it.
why $ is number 1 on our worrying list??
how come we dun worry abt terrorism/environmental issues- global warming/blah blah blah..??
perhaps it’s due to the infinite financial commitments that we have.
juz count the no. of commitments u have:
1. phone bills – HP/house phone/parent’s hp bill
2. broadband bill
3. cable tv bill
4. electricity bill
5. car loans
6. insurance
7. allowance for parents..
the above mentioned are the commitments of a single.
imagine a married person.
that’s why most families nowadays… both mum & dad has to work, in order to support their living expenses, not forgetting extra $ is needed for those with kids.
i muz say that some of my peers are pretty fortunate.
some only have hp bills to pay.
some dun have to give allowance to parents.
envy siah..
recently i’ve been worrying abt something. and when i found out the results/conclusion, i can feel my heart settled down. how abt no longer sitting on a rocking chair, in the quotes’ context lah..
sometimes, we chose not to know the truth cuz we know that we are not gg to know the truth we wanna know.
and thus, we put the issue to an improper closure. more like chuck it at the back of our brain.
